You know when you’ve met a new friend, and you’re surprised at how well you and them click, but as you continue to get to know them, at some point along the line, they stop. You get to know them and then there’s nothing left to get to know. A lot of times I feel like that’s it? It’s hard to find people that keep expanding, and you keep uncovering more and more about who they are, finding out about their past. It’s hard to be friends with someone like that because you never know how they’re going to react to things you say, but I like and appreciate people like that. It leaves an element of surprise that so many people lack. Depth is something I really enjoy in a person, not that I dislike surface level people, but they’re just not as interesting.
